La Haise Céramique was founded in 2020 by Anne Sophie La Haise, a ceramic artist based in Montréal. After studying visual arts and art history, she worked in the art world for nearly 10 years before devoting herself fully to her work with ceramics. She creates playful functional and sculptural objects with a particular interest for their sensory qualities. She welcomes deformations and works with the flexibility of the clay to produce pieces that have a neat finish but bear the marks of the different manipulations of the material.
