Love "Forever Changes"

"I was first introduced to this album by a close friend of mine who bought a copy on vinyl during one of his visits to Montreal. Forever Changes is by far one of my favourite albums. I love the strange, haunting quality of the music combined with Arthur Lees brilliant lyrics. This record is full of surprises, and I hear something new each time I play it. The music is full of abstract imagery and a psychedelic mixture of sombreness and beauty that is very reminiscent of the late 60s. Arthur Lee, Love's front man, passed away on August 3rd 2006. I chose to reinterpret 'Forever Changes' using embroidery as a way of preserving Lee's memory and musical legacy. I decided to maintain the original cover design using the meditative process of drawing with thread, in honour of Lee and his lifetime of musical achievements."
