There is nothing more unbelievably incredible than to see your friends recognized for their brilliant efforts. Especially when the recognition comes from the biggest source of props on the planet, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, in the form of a nomination for best animated short, alongside the NFB's Madame Tutli-Putli . Perhaps you were lucky enough to see the jaw-dropping animation I Met the Walrus when it screened at Film Pop last October, directed by Josh Raskin, and illustrated by James Braithwaite, member of the YPF, artist, friend, gentleman, and new god in the hall of my heros.
