The Persuasions are taking requests!

Did you hear about The Persuasions? The benchmark for a capella ensembles will come to visit the streets of our beautiful city in October. We are really excited about hearing their voices at POP. Check out this movie to have a taste of what's coming:



At this moment, you can send your song requests here, and buy tickets for the show there. Keep in mind that the weird demands that you may want to send in as jokes will still be considered as possibilities. The Persuasions have already made an album only with Zappa covers. Take a chance with your favorite King Crimson or Radiohead song, you never know what could happen.

This unmissable event will take place on October 4 in the magnificent Ukrainian Federation!!!

The Persuasions are still on the road! I heard them in California a couple of years ago and they sounded great!! Jerry Lawson left years ago...guess you can't please everybody.

You are either related to one of the Persuasions or you are hearing impaired. There is no more Persuasions. Ask Any real Persuasions fan. Would The Beatles sound like or be The Beatles if any of them left or were replaced? Would The Stones sound like the Stones if Mick left or was replaced? The Persuasions sound was made up of a specific blend of ingredients. The dominant ingredient has been removed from the recipe & the remaining ingredients' shelf life has expired - This is not meant to be mean spirited. It's a very sad sad reality. If you were spending money to see the Stones & the act turned out to be a couple of originals & someone taking the place of Jagger... well it's exactly the same thing. Some folks can't handle the truth & real Persuasions fans deserve the truth when purchasing tickets. Fans should not be misled, deceived or ripped off.

Until this video is removed please be aware this video is over 20 years old. Jerry Lawson the lead singer, arranger & producer of The Persuasions for 40 years & 22 albums is no longer with them which is like taking Jagger out of The Stones or Gladys Knight out of the Pips, or the turkey missing from Thanksgiving dinner. If anyone reading this is a Persuasions fan & you'd like to hear what Jerry Lawson is doing now you can visit www.jerrylawson.biz - He recently released what he claims to be the a cappella masterpiece of his career. He is also coming out with a variety of projects with instruments.
