Terms and Conditions

POP Montreal International Music Festival may use artist materials submitted
in applications, including, but not limited to, sound recordings, name and
likeness in connection with the promotion of the festival and website.  Pop
Montreal will listen to a minimum of two tracks that are submitted by each
artist.

Materials will be used exclusively by POP Montreal International Music
Festival and designated affiliates, only in connection with the POP Montreal
International Music Festival. Commercial, non-promotional uses not
associated with the POP Montreal International Music Festival are NOT
included and may be subject to a separate agreement.

Artists warrant that they control the rights to all materials and
intellectual property submitted and agree to indemnify POP Montreal
International Music Festival and its partners from any claims, actions,
proceeding costs, expenses and damages which may arise as a result of the
submission.

POP Montreal International Music Festival will not disseminate personal
information about artists, other than that which they provide on a voluntary
basis for public use.

Any personal information provided to POP Montreal International Music
Festival will not be sold or made available to a third party for commercial
purposes.

In regards to the Pop Player:

Pop Montreal will stream this year's submissions at www.popmontreal.com.
Visitors to the site will have the opportunity to help us program  the
SIRIUS Canada stage by voting for which artists they like.   3 artists will
be chosen from the top 20 user generated votes to play the stage by a super
jury made up of members of our local musical community.  Artists will be selected by vote according to talent.  On 15/08/2008 the Player will  be modified to feature a shortlist of 200 artists.  the 3 winners will be announced on 30/08/2008 and personally contacted by the Pop Montreal festival.
