Audrey Levasseur-Ruel

Audrey Levasseur-Ruel is a young ceramist based in Montreal. Graduated from the Centre de céramique Bonsecours, she develops, through the traditional techniques of wheel-throwing and hand-building, an approach that is both formal, utilitarian, but also artistic of the ceramic medium. By exploring gestures and an iconography specific to children, her collection reflects a desire to offer sensitive, colorful, and above all, playful objects for both adults and children.
