Hanako is a Montreal-based singer-songwriter who loves folk and dream pop in equal measure. Her new EP, "A Sibling Spring", uses humor and melancholy to retrace the ramshackle memories of younger days. Writing in both English and Japanese, she performs intimate solo shows on her 12-string acoustic, or delivers a grander sound with electric guitar and her regular backing band.
