Michael Feuerstack

Michael Feuerstack is a Montreal based songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and sound designer mainly known for his own musical solo project under his name (and formerly as Snailhouse). In his solo career he has penned many records, resulting in a body of songs that passes from traditional to experimental – revealing a willingness to engage in both contemporary and traditional forms. Feuerstack also collaborates with countless other projects (Land of Talk, Bell Orchestre, The Luyas, Julie Doiron and many more).

For his music-making work he has earned two Junos and a number of other accolades. He is also known for work with choreographers and filmmakers, and for producing and mixing albums with established and emerging artists. A tireless creator, Feuerstack is a seeker of stories to tell and new ways to tell them.
