The intricate harmonies of Halifax-based sisters Moira and Claire first rang out from the backseat of the family car on cross-country road trips when they were kids. Solidified as a writing, recording and performing duo in 2017, they’ve come a long way since, but the strong sibling bond of their musical chemistry remains.

Moira and Claire’s sound merges reflective, cinematic storytelling with indie folk-pop sensibilities, drawing comparisons to Phoebe Bridgers and Noah Kahan. Their songs are built on rich vocal harmonies, their lyrics full of subtle sophistication, perfectly unexpected moments, and hard-won wisdom.
