Monsieurmadam
Monsieurmadam (they/them) is the sonic moniker of Montréal-based multidisciplinary artist and sound architect Al Haytame Farsane, whose practice merges experimental electronic music, ritual vocal work, and diasporic memory. Moving fluidly between club culture and sound art, their compositions operate at the threshold of ritual and rave, using the voice as both personal archive and sonic force. Through field recordings, distorted harmonies, and textured rhythmic structures, their work explores migration, queerness, belonging, and the blurred emotional space between human and machine.
As founder and creative director of AFT3RWE4R, a platform amplifying diasporic and queer voices in Montréal’s experimental music ecosystem, Monsieurmadam expands live electronic music as a site of ritual, storytelling, and collective experience.
