Pony Girl

Pony Girl is a shape-shifting art rock band described as “pure magic to see live” (Ottawa Showbox) and “astonishing to experience in person” (Exclaim!). They are recipients of Le Prix du Festival d’Été du Québec.

Their live shows feel unpredictable, combining next-level musicianship with conceptual flair. Blending artful pop, rock guitar, jazz drumming and electronic textures, Pony Girl crafts an immersive sound that transforms the familiar into something surreal. After self-releasing two albums, the band signed with Paper Bag Records (Austra, Stars, Broken Social Scene) to unveil two more acclaimed records.

Their music has charted across North America (#1 on CBC Radio 3) with features on KEXP, KCRW, CBC Radio Q, and more. Pony Girl made its international debut at SXSW in 2024; and UK debut at FOCUS Wales in 2026.

The Canadian band is preparing to release its fifth studio album, "FIRE!", produced by longtime collaborator Austin Tufts (BRAIDS).
