Riberdy

Montréal, QC

Sarah-Jeanne lives and works in Montreal. Located on Avenue du Parc in the Mile End neighborhood, her studio is shared with lamp designer Jeta, with whom she has been collaborating since 2019.

In 2012, she completed a technical degree in fine crafts at Cégep du Vieux Montréal, in partnership with the École de céramique Bonsecours. She then continued her studies at Concordia University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2018, specializing in ceramics. That same year, she participated in the opening of a center dedicated to contemporary ceramics, where she coordinated workshops and taught. Since 2021, she has been teaching at the Centre des arts visuels (CAV/VAC) in Westmount and giving various professional development workshops.

Her work is driven by a desire to give meaning to everyday objects in order to beautify and enrich our living environments and the actions we perform within them.”
