Tess Roby

Tess Roby is an artist based in Montreal who runs the independent record label SSURROUNDSS. She has released two self-produced solo albums, "Beacon" (2018) and "Ideas of Space" (2022), and has collaborated with acclaimed electronic artists such as Khotin, Seb Wildblood, Austra, and Ouri. She is a member of the Montreal-based synth-pop trio Dawn to Dawn and has recently released music under the name Deep Breath. In 2024, Tess was selected as artist-in-residence at Canada’s National Music Centre and participated in the Keychange program; a global movement working toward gender equality in the music industry. She is currently preparing for the release of her third full-length solo album, which is set to come out in 2027.
